Jaipur, August 31:
The Diocese of Jaipur joyfully celebrated the Feast of St. Monica, patroness of mothers and families, with devotion, fellowship, and service.
The day began with a solemn Holy Mass, during which the liturgy featured a Bible procession and an inspiring introduction on the life and virtues of St. Monica. The faithful reflected on her steadfast prayer life and her role as a model of faith for families.
After the Eucharistic celebration, the women of the parish gathered for a cake-cutting ceremony, symbolizing unity and joy, followed by refreshments arranged for all, fostering fellowship among the community.
As part of the celebration’s outreach initiatives, free health check-up camps were conducted at different venues, benefitting parishioners and local residents. In addition, dry ration kits were distributed to widows, extending a message of compassion and solidarity in the spirit of St. Monica.
The celebration beautifully blended prayer, fellowship, and charitable service, inspiring the faithful to live out St. Monica’s legacy of faith, perseverance, and love within their families and communities.
Thank you,
