International Women’s Day was celebrated with great joy and warmth across the Diocese of Jaipur under the theme “Celebration of Womanhood – Give to Gain.” The day was a beautiful occasion to recognize, appreciate, and celebrate the strength, dedication, and contributions of women in our families, parishes, and society.

What made the celebrations even more special this year was the heartfelt initiative taken by the men of the various parishes, who organized the programs to honour the women in their communities. Their thoughtful efforts created an atmosphere of gratitude, respect, and celebration.

Across many parishes, workshops and interactive sessions were organized to reflect on women’s empowerment, dignity, and their vital role in the life of the Church and society. These sessions encouraged dialogue, reflection, and appreciation for the many ways in which women quietly and consistently enrich community life. During the gatherings, women were warmly acknowledged for their selfless service and commitment—whether in family life, parish ministries, social outreach, or community leadership.

Many shared moments of appreciation where the contributions of mothers, daughters, teachers, and community leaders were recognized with gratitude. The celebrations also included joyful moments of cake cutting, fellowship, and group photographs, where smiles, laughter, and a spirit of unity filled the air. These simple gestures became meaningful expressions of love and respect for the women who nurture and strengthen the community every day.

The celebration of International Women’s Day in the Diocese of Jaipur was not just an event but a heartfelt expression of gratitude and recognition. The theme “Give to Gain” beautifully reminded everyone that when we value, support, and uplift women, we build stronger families, a more compassionate Church, and a better society.

The day concluded with a renewed commitment to continue promoting respect, dignity, and empowerment of women, ensuring that their voices, talents, and contributions are always cherished and encouraged.
