The Consecrated Religious Sisters Day was celebrated by Women’s commission in St John the Baptist Church on 8/2/26 with great devotion and gratitude to honor the selfless service, commitment, and spiritual dedication of Religious Sisters. The programme was organized to acknowledge their invaluable contribution to education, healthcare, social service, and the moral development of society.
The celebration began with a introductory prayer service seeking God’s blessings for all the Religious Sisters. This was followed by Holy Mass which highlighted the importance of consecrated life and the noble mission carried out by the Sisters in serving humanity with love and compassion. Special messages of gratitude were shared, emphasizing their role as beacons of faith, discipline, and service. A token of appreciation was presented to the Religious Sisters as a mark of gratitude and recognition for their dedicated service.
The programme ended on a joyful note, strengthening the bond between the community and the Religious Sisters and reaffirming respect for their devoted life of service.
Thanks and regards
Jamie
