On February 4th, 2024, our parish church, St. Francis Xavier, joyously celebrated Religious Sisters Day. This decision was in accordance with the guidelines of the CCB’s Commission for Women, designating February 2nd as Religious Day to honor the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord.

To express our gratitude for the dedicated and selfless contributions of our parish’s religious sisters, they were welcomed with warm and cordial floral tributes. Their candle procession symbolized their tireless efforts in fostering spiritual growth and providing enlightening guidance. Mrs. Snageeta highlighted their noble services and exemplary commitment, expressing heartfelt gratitude. The sisters’ readings and petitions by women commission members were inspiring, creating a sense of abundant blessings. Their extraordinary participation during the Holy Eucharist was commendable. Sister Seema expressed thanks to the parish and Fr. Thomas for this solemn and memorable event, where the sisters were honored. The offertory procession by the sisters was nothing short of spectacular.

Following the mass, a cake-cutting ceremony added to the joy of this heartwarming occasion. The day concluded with a short get-together, marking the success of this truly brilliant celebration.
