Every heavy heart finds its way to Mother Mary because the church is the body of Christ and Mary is Christ’s mother, She is also the mother of the church. This means that, in addition to having a special relationship with Jesus, Mary also has a special relationship with the church. She belongs to the church and the Church belongs to her. So when we pray the rosary we honour our mother and the mother of our Lord.

On the 31st of May, the parishioners of St. Xavier’s Church celebrated the Trinity Sunday and the end of the Marian month. There was a procession which was lead by Mr. Yuvraaj Fernandes, He was followed by the leaders of different commissions and the laity. Floral offerings were offered to the statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary by all the leaders. A special screening of the Rosary held video was done.
Rev. Fr. Joseph frpm Nevata celebrated the Mass with a profound homily and special intentions were read. Soon after the Mass a group picture was taken and payasam was served to all.
