On 8th September 2024, St. John the Baptist Church, Lalarpura, hosted a combined celebration in honour of three significant occasions: Mother’s Day, Girl Child Day, and Teacher’s Day. The event began with the recitation of the rosary, followed by a solemn Eucharistic Mass led by Fr. Edward Oliveira. The liturgy was gracefully organized by the women’s cell, creating a spiritual and heartfelt atmosphere. Prior to the feast day, a nine-day novena was observed, with daily Mass leading up to the birthday celebration of Mother Mary.
After the Eucharistic celebration, the teachers of St. John the Baptist Church were recognized for their unwavering dedication and efforts. Each teacher present was honored with a certificate and a pen set, graciously presented by Parishkar News. In addition, the nurses’ committee extended their appreciation by offering gifts to the teachers, highlighting their invaluable contributions to the community.
The atmosphere throughout the day was one of joy and gratitude, leaving lasting memories for everyone in attendance. The event concluded with a group photograph, capturing the essence of the celebration, followed by breakfast that fostered fellowship and unity.
